It is with great pleasure, that we invite you to attend the First International MeetingPoint on Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist (NAVA) and Neural Monitoring, which will take place in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, on
April 26 - 27, 2012.
The program provides an in depth overview of the latest developments, concepts and clinical findings about NAVA and neural monitoring in mechanically ventilated patients of all ages.

Topics to be covered include:
- Control of breathing and physiology of NAVA
- NAVA and neural monitoring in acute respiratory failure
- ARDS and ventilator-induced lung injury
- Ventilator-induced diaphragm dysfunction
- Patient - ventilator interaction
- Noninvasive ventilation
- Post-operative ventilation
These topics will be chaired by scientific experts in their respective fields, and presentations will follow by clinicians with vast clinical experience in the topic.
Round table and panel discussions will offer to both young colleagues and more experienced users of NAVA a compact overview and education opportunity as well as state-of-the-art updates in all facets of NAVA and Edi monitoring.
